Students in the Columbia River Studies course at Stevenson High School will strive to achieve the following:
- A deep, broad understanding of a place.
- The ability to analyze the ecological health of a stream using chemical, biological, and physical indicators.
- A greater appreciation for the Columbia River by studying its natural and human history.
- The ability to describe the life cycle and habitat of salmon.
- The ability to collect and analyze data using technology and field observation techniques.
- The ability to communicate better through writing, speaking, and technology.
- The ability to better find and use a variety of information.
