Building Berlin

Here you will examine the spatial transformation of postwar Berlin through three distinct sites: 1) the Berlin Wall; 2) the Neue Wache; and 2) the Holocaust Memorial. Through these sites one can see not only how Berlin recovered after World War II, but also how memorials and monuments have been included in the landscape as means to confront the past.
