How to Use This Site

This site contains a variety of media and information on buildings and landscapes, including art and sculptures. This site is setup as an interactive and dynamic digital book, which means that you can navigate to various media in many different ways. See Reading in Scalar for more information about the Scalar platform.

Browsers may find sites via the search bar at the top; by flipping page-by-page like a book, or by using the chronological timeline.

Can I use a map to navigate to an individual building or landscape?

Yes, on the WSU Buildings and Landscapes page, all places, objects, and buildings (when known) are mapped. 

How do I find an individual building or a landscape?

You can go to the Buildings page or the Landscapes page, then find the name of the building or landscape and click on that page. This will re-direct you to the individual building or landscape page, which will have basic information, photographs, timeline, etc.

Is there a way to do a simple search for a building?

Yes, at the top of any page, there is a magnifying glass that can be used to search for a building name that will return pages, photographs, etc. of anything with the keywords you used.

Is there information on the campus as a whole?

Yes, you can go to the Campus Maps and Views.

Is there a timeline with all of the WSU Buildings and when they were constructed?

Yes, you can go to the WSU Buildings Timeline.
